Atl Baby! (404) Monica (and Bells) Area Code

Welcome to Atlanta! This is the beautiful & talented Monica (R&B singer) taking y'all for a walk around Atlanta. The City of Atlanta is wonderful, exciting, lusty, full of opportunities and freakiness! There is too much to do in The A....one of my favourite places is JR Crickets Downtown, you have not eaten Barbecue unless you have eaten here. The Pork ribs are to die for!!!!

There is also a fab place in Austell, Ga.... but that is my little secret...!

Kim K & Banana Pudding.

Kim Kardashian is thicker than Georgian Banana Pudding with extra cream (Soul Food variety). Purrrr!

Soul Food: Pig Feet .....*gagging*

Now, I know us Brits don't have the best cuisine.... but some of the stuff sold in stores here make me gag. You can't go into an Off License (Liquor Store) to purchase a few bottles of good wine without being assaulted by the mean looking jellied pigs trotters in yucky looking jars by the counter. My friend told me that it is popular 'eating' in Georgia and other parts of the USA.

Wow.

Well, let me think....*thinking* do we have any disgusting vomit inducing food like this back in the UK......okay, Whelks may be a strong candidate & Jellied Eels & liquor (green parsley gravy) is another nasty example.

Check out our friend in the video...making light work of those pig feet! Lol

How To: Eat A Lobster.

Okay, so I have had cravings for seafood this past week, and I hunted down some lobster at the local fish market so I could cook at home. I enjoy Lobster so much that I freak out if I don't get it...I must be craving potassium or something...*runs off to Google it*.....

This bloke in the video is rather interesting in his approach to cracking & devouring. I enjoyed it.

When I first got to America this old country bloke from Covington, Ga who I was messing about with took me to Red Lobster. He said it was too expensive (!) (try to avoid these cheap idiot types of men) but I wanted to go all the time. Mind you, his idea of a good time was a trip to Piccadilly & a dance at some dodgy club in the hood ....

Now it's off to Benihana for me (new bloke...rather nice & more $$$$$), with Roys & Houstons coming a close second in the lobster meal competition!
