Suicide or Murder ? Dr David Kelly.

Those of you who are aware of the curious case of Dr David Kelly will also be aware that the British government are now under public pressure to produce a report regarding the British biological weapons experts' death. It has been reported and officially concluded that he committed suicide due to the stress and pressure arising from his report on biological weapons findings in Iraq, which hence justified the British involvement in the current war on Iraq.

Dr Kelly asserted that his report had been 'sexed up' by the government in order to gain widespread public support for the war.

Shortly thereafter, Dr Kelly was found dead in woodland near his home. He was slumpt against a tree, his wrist appeared to have been slashed and a pruning knife (a typically middle-English, upper-middle class suicide aid) was at his side. Death by suicide was reported.

Only, now it appears that there are some rather unsavoury suggestions being made about his death, the people involved in the discovery, witnesses, police reports, the coroners' verdict, secrecy and lots more cloak and dagger type stuff.

The British government's hand has been forced and now a public enquiry seems eminent.

We await the results with interest.
