Nicaragua - A Nation's Right To Survive

Background: There has been renewed fascination with Nicaragua for a couple of years now by the Western media.

A friend wanted to travel to Managua (West) and Bluefields (East on the Caribbean coastline). Bluefields is another story in itself.....

A friend travelled to a small Colombian Island (try and guess which one), and was surprised to learn that it was closer to Nicaragua than Colombia. The beautiful little island is (and has been) subjected to ownership claims by both countries. It is just off the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua.

There are no direct flights from Nicaragua to the island/s (one main island & several smaller ones). One has to fly from Colombia (Santa Marta or Barranquilla for the shortest flights) or Panama, to get to the island. The island has an immense tourist industry which is administered by the Colombian government in Bogota.

Since 1970 there has been talk of petroleum under the island/s.

I mention all of this because Nicaragua is the poorest country in the entire region of Central & South America & The Caribbean after Haiti. If Nicaragua could gain from the tourism revenue from the island that literally sits in their lap, then that would be a major thing for the Nico's (Nico's is how they refer to themselves, just like the Costa Ricans refer to themselves as Ticos).

Colombia has Cartagena (major tourist port & city), Santa Marta (major national & international tourist port & city), Cali (major and renowned for the music & dancing that emanates from this city) and countless other beaches (playas) for citizens, residents & visitors.

Video: Is about the threat of Communism in Nicaragua, and the US role in what essentially is a very poor, stagnant but stark & beautiful country in Central America. The Nico's are apathetic and stoic, and this video shows you some of the reasons why this is so.

Thankfully Nicaragua does not share the horrid problems of it's neighbours in El Salvador & Honduras. But that is entirely another subject (not for the faint hearted) for another time.

Well, it's clear that the young girl has mental health issues. I hope that since that particular episode she has gotten the help & love that she needs.

In the previous video she mentioned that she had been a victim of rape. Many rape victims express aggression, and it explains a lot as to why it surfaced in the incident on Marta. Sad.

This lady has already sparked some fantasies in the minds of British men! Yes, she has a little sexy something going on....she reminds me of 'Matron' at my old public school. You can imagine that when she gives a command, it is followed to the latter.

British Police Hunting Fugitive

There have been some fantastic (unfortunately) pictures of the Northern English countryside, our Police Officers & locals. In this picture you can see our cops (totally fit & ready) ready to shoot the sh*t out of ANYONE who come out of the bushes. Bear in mind that this is a sleepy little town outside of Newcastle.

Most Wanted: Geordie Killer.

It is beyond belief that such a cute and adorable looking child should grow up to become one the United Kingdom's most dangerous men. This person is now a 30 something yr old man who has murdered his ex-girlfriend, her boyfriend & a police officer.

He has vowed to snuff out any & all police officers that try to apprehend him, and he has warned that members of the public are not immune to being killed at whim. He is relentless & cold.

He is a killer who has put Northern England, UK wide & Northern Ireland police authorities on the media front line. He has been on the run for 4 days, and the police seem completely unable to deal with the hunt. So much so, that the SAS have been drafted in to deal with this man. The SAS WILL catch him & kill him in the process. Tap Tap.

He wants to die. He has said as much in his Facebook postings, his friends & family believe he wants to 'go out' in a 'blaze of glory'. They need to swap 'glory' for 'gunfire'.
